Despite flying around a lens that’s over 60 pounds, because of the incredible equipment from Chapman Leonard, I was able to place this lens wherever I wanted to immediately. There was really no compromise in having a lens this big on this production.
To test performance in a commercial environment, the lens was connected to a Preston Focus System, in which it performed beautifully.
At 25mm it’s really flat, you get no bow, no bend, it’s super clean.

Trying to marry his passion for cars and cameras, AJ began shooting automotive videos with his high school friends. His work caught the attention of some local car dealerships, and at age 22 he left his job at Apple to pursue filmmaking full-time.
