What Features Does the Next-Generation Box Lens Technology Improve?
Central to the updates are improvements to customizable controls and stabilization, improved usability and serviceability, plus the introduction of key new features.
Next-Generation Stabilization
The upgraded Fujinon box lenses* have significantly improved optical stabilization, helping footage remain smooth and shake-free, even at extreme telephoto focal lengths. This provides operators with the assurance they need when framing telephoto images.
*FUJINON UA27x6.5 BESM-E45 does not feature an OS system.
Integrated Breathing Compensation
More and more, broadcast productions demand cinematic quality. With next-gen technology, focus breathing is effectively minimized. FUJINON box lens users can shift focus freely without concern for unwanted shifts in composition.
Custom Focus, Zoom, and Iris Curves
No two broadcasts are ever the same in their need for precise lens control. Now, with FUJINON next-gen box lenses, you can customize the curves of focus, zoom, and iris. All three key commands can be set uniquely, so each performs exactly as you want in response to physical input.
Iris, Back Focus, or Macro Control from newly developed Zoom Demand (ERD-50A-D01)
In addition to seamless control over primary functions, more specialized lens features can now be adjusted using the zoom demand. A choice of iris, back focus, or macro mode can be mapped to the demand’s Aux Volume dial, ensuring everything you need for a visually perfect broadcast remains well within reach.
Additional Data Via Thumb Drive
There are two new ways you can access improved performance with a FUJINON box lens – both using simple thumb drive compatibility. First, a personalized setup can be saved and recalled with ease, leading to reduced setup time and consistent operation. Second, firmware updates are easier than ever. You can keep your lens operating at its best with ease.
